Pal Brothers Podium at NSW States

NSW State Champs this year were held at Penrith BMX Club and representing CBR was the Pal brothers Lleyton and Ethan. Llyeton made a last minute decision to race after injuring his hand 6 weeks earlier and Ethan also hurting his shoulder 2 weeks out.

Ethan Pal: "Having a crash two weeks out and injuring my shoulder wasn't too good but it managed to get better just in time for racing. Knowing the weekend was going to be very hot I knew I had to drink a lot of water and stay hydrated. Smashing out all the Motos with three seconds and then pulled a first in the semi. Definitely wasn't the gate I wanted in the final but managed to catch up to third, I was trying to catch the riders in front of me but making a few little mistakes made that impossible. Overall it was a good days racing and I'm pretty happy with how I rode. Wouldn't be where I am today in the sport without all the people behind me and supporting me through my career."

Watch Ethan's Final Lleyton Pal: This was my very first ride in 6 weeks coming back from a broken hand and I wasn't 100% sure if I would race. Had 3 practice laps and felt all good to race. My Motos I took it pretty easy with a 1st, 2nd, 1st which gave me 1st pick for the semi. Had a good run in my semi with the 1st place which gave me 1st pick for the final. In the final, Isnapped a bit early on the gate and hit it just slightly to slow me down a bit but stayed in 2nd around most of the track and finished with 2nd. I'd like to thank everyone for the support over the weekend and to Crisp Bros Racing for everything they do for me on and off the track.
